Being Interviewed for World Nomads Podcast: Albania and Reindeer
I recently finished a series of films for World Nomads, with footage from The New Iron Curtain. The films focused on Finnmark and Setomma - regions of Norway and Estonia, respectively, which have fascinating complexities around identity and belonging.
The World Nomads team wanted to interview me for their podcast, and they asked me about Albania, which I had travelled to in search of a British World War Two secret mission. I wrote about that journey for The Telegraph and recorded a report for the BBC’s From Our Own Correspondent (you can find both here).
It was great to talk to the team about my journeys, and you can listen to the World Nomads podcast here. I talk about my time with Anna-Louisa the reindeer herder, as well as my impressions of Albania.
